Mini Marquees recently had the privilege of creating a 6.0 x 3.0 Maxi Range Mini Marquee for Guinness, a project passed on to us by Henson Franklyn, the esteemed event company. Utilizing our state-of-the-art dye sublimation printing, we developed a sleek and striking design that perfectly fulfilled Guinness’s branding and advertising requirements.
Our Maxi Range, launched in 2010, is renowned for its strength and durability. With a robust frame specification of 63mm x 56mm x 2mm for the outer leg sections, it stands as the sturdiest Mini Marquee on the global market. This ensured that the Guinness marquee, designed for maximum impact, was not only visually impressive but also built to endure any event conditions.

Having had our “Mini Marquee” for many years and used it over 280 times I thought it would be very worthwhile to share our observations.
Our Alpha Industries branded marquee is from their Maxi range and came with custom printed logos on 2 side walls, the front and rear edging branded full width and graphics on the roof. Most importantly it has a unique horizontal clothing rail system, built by Mini Marquees for hanging clothes face forward on each of the 3 walls, two rows on each. This affords us the opportunity to display around 200 weighty flight jackets on just the walls alone maximising revenue potential.
Its quality is superb. For over a decade in all sorts of weather conditions holding a lot of weight it has never bent, buckled or strained itself out of shape and it still packs down into the same bag it came with a decade ago, amazing when you think it has been erected and dismantled now almost 600 times
Not only I would highly recommended this marquee to anyone but so do many other traders at our events. It is always commented on as great looking and one of the best they have seen. The service level from Lee, the owner and other colleagues has always been outstanding. This friendly family business knows what they are doing and are a pleasure to deal with. I’ve worked on National Trust events for over 20 years and I’ve encountered a lot of different pop-up gazebo designs. By far the best ones in my experience – for robust construction and durability – are the Mini Marquees company. They are built to last: we are still using two that were in the event store when I arrived in the Lake District 16 years ago, and two that I bought nine years ago still look as good as new.
They are the only ones I’ve found that are designed to cope with the great British summer weather, feeling safe and secure even in gusty wind conditions, when cheaper and more lightweight designs can bend and buckle. As an added bonus, they can even cope with the tender mercies of National Trust ranger teams heaving them in and out of fully-laden trailers, which is definitely no mean feat (I have yet to find a plastic storage box that can survive the same process).
It’s easy to get spares and replacements, and the carrying cases are as durable and well-designed as the marquees, making them easy to transport and take care of. Mini Marquees is the brand I always recommend to colleagues who are looking to buy a pop-up gazebo – they definitely repay the investment.
